Who we are

These terms cover the Random Knights websites. Random Knights, LLC runs them. We are a Georgia limited liability company in Roswell, GA. In these terms, we and us mean Random Knights, LLC. You means anyone who uses the sites.

Which sites

These terms cover five sites: randomknights.xyz, randomknights.llc, randomknights.org, randomly.engineering, and knightly.engineering.

The rand0m.ai app has its own terms. These terms do not replace them.

Beta and informational

The sites are in beta. They are here to inform you. A page can change, break, or be wrong. Please do not rely on a site for a decision that could cost you money, safety, or health.

Figures

Energy and carbon figures are modeled estimates. Tree-Time and equivalents are educational comparisons.

Donations

Donations go to a company, not a charity. Donations are not tax-deductible at this time. We intend to apply for 501(c)(3) status. We have not applied yet, and nothing has been granted.

Donation and shop links go to third parties: Buy Me a Coffee, PayPal, and Fourthwall. Each one runs its own service under its own terms. We do not control them.

Links to other sites

Our footer links to GitHub, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, and YouTube. They are third parties. We do not control them, and their own terms and policies apply when you use them.

The stay-notified list

If you join the stay-notified or beta list, we use what you give us only to send you updates. What we collect and how to be removed are on the privacy page.

Open standards

We publish some of our work as open standards: K13, AiEDs, and Earth+. Each standard is under the license stated on that standard's own page. Please read the license there before you reuse it.

No warranty

We provide the sites as is. We make no warranty of any kind about them.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, Random Knights, LLC is not liable for any loss or harm that comes from using the sites or relying on what they say.

Changes

We may change the sites and these terms at any time. When we change these terms, the date at the top changes.

Governing law

The laws of the State of Georgia govern these terms.
